A little something…

In Miscellaneous, Weekly Webinars on November 30, 2012 at 6:33 am

Three years ago marked the launch of this blog and as a little token to all of the active followers that have shown their support over the years, I have created a temporary link for a special payment plan for the weekly webinars learning group: Payment Plan for 30th November 2012.

I am not going to tweet this out or post it anywhere else and will be deactivating the link just after NY close today. Make sure you go through the above link and not through the one on the ‘Learn’ page on the blog in order to avoid the normal ‘sign-up’ fee (subscribing locks you in at the subscription rate as long as you remain an active subscriber ahead of all future revisions).

Current schedule:

  1. Monday, 09:15 to 10:00 EST time.
  2. Tuesday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.
  3. Wednesday, 09:15 to 10:00 EST time.
  4. Thursday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.

Once again, thank you for all your support.

Looking forwards to seeing you in the sessions ;-)

Changes to the Weekly Webinars…

In Weekly Webinars on August 23, 2012 at 5:15 pm

As promised, a little ‘heads up’ for those that have been thinking about subscribing to confirm that there will be some changes to the weekly webinar scheduling & pricing in the coming weeks.

What started as a single weekly session almost 2 years ago has slowly evolved into a more complete offering and after having moved the free Sunday session to Friday, I think it is only natural to add another session to complete the week.

The new schedule will be:

  • Monday, 09:15 to 10:00 EST time. < *New Session*
  • Tuesday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.
  • Wednesday, 09:15 to 10:00 EST time.
  • Thursday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.
  • Friday, +/- 13:00EST time, depending on availability & market action.  < *Free*

Most traders fail because they never put themselves in a position to succeed and that is what we tackle. What these webinars provide is a ‘real and live’ learning experience, offering participants an insight into how a professional retail trader views the markets in terms of psychology, odds and setups. The focus is performing ‘Live’ technical analysis in a serious learning environment, showing participants how we can have a clear understanding of market dynamics and trade set-ups by primarily using: support/resistance, fibs and channels. I will not be making trade calls or recommendations per se but naturally, we look at both sides of the markets, current/future setups and how to engage in a responsible manner.

Readers know my philosophy: - remember that trading is an extremely hard way to make a living. It is not a ‘job’ in the strict sense of the word but it is a profession and unless you put yourself in a position to succeed by treating it as a business, you are going to find out the hard way how physically, psychologically and economically taxing it can be. Don’t let anyone tell you it can’t be done but equally, don’t let anyone give you the false impression that this is easy and that there are shortcuts. In my humble opinion, a real trader is formed through consistency and longevity and despite the fact that not everyone is going to be able to function in this type of business, if tackled with dedication, discipline and devotion, it can be one of the most rewarding ways of life, if not ‘the only way’ for people that are truly wired to be traders. -

Naturally, my focus remains to attract serious and dedicated participants to this service and even if the new pricing structure will continue to offer exceptional value, there will be a considerable revision to the current rates to bring them closer to ‘fair-value’ for this service and to account for the extra sessions that have been added.

Current subscribers: there will be no change in terms of pricing, as long as your original payment profile is active, you are locked-in at that price for as long as these sessions are running. As usual, you continue to be rewarded for your commitment, hard work and dedication.

Should you be interested in joining us before the launch of the new schedule or to get a feel for the sessions > LEARN.

Looking forwards to seeing you there and don’t forget that the Friday webinars are still free ;-)

Additional Weekly Session…

In Weekly Webinars on April 2, 2012 at 7:17 am

I would like to confirm that starting this week, there will be an additional live session. As per my usual commitment to current subscribers, there will no change in monthly payment as long as it’s your initial payment profile that is still running: yes, the new session is free for you ;-)

Also, in a continued attempt to avoid the unnecessary hassle and admin involved with attracting a less serious crowd or just curious bystanders, I have modified the PayPal subscription profile for the first month but there is no change to the running monthly price, still the same despite the new sessions that have been added.

In conclusion, from now on you will be subscribing to 3 live sessions each week:

  • Tuesday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time
  • Wednesday, 09:15 to 10:00 EST time < *New Mid-week Update*
  • Thursday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.

Just to preempt questions:

  1. All new subscribers have to go through the new payment plan, no exception will be made, even if you were a previous subscriber. No change only applies to valid current subs.
  2. Yes, 1st month trial period requires an minor investment but after that there is no change in the recurring payments.

For more details on the sessions and to subscribe > Webinars Page.

Looking forwards to seeing you there and don’t forget that the Sunday webinars are still free ;-)

Changes to Mid-Week Webinar…

In Weekly Webinars on March 30, 2011 at 2:04 pm

We have almost been running this mid-week session for 6 months now and I have to admit that I am very happy with how it has been going and the progress made by the students in the room. For those that know me a bit better, you will  not be surprised that I have taken the time to review progress and after careful consideration, I would like to point out the two main considerations that I feel are most relevant to move these sessions to the next level.

First of all, despite the fact that Wednesday is ideally placed to bridge the gap between the free Sunday sessions, I feel that students would be better served by more live time. Therefore, I have managed to reorganize my schedule and will now host this live session twice every week: on Tuesday and Thursday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time.

Secondly, as you know, in holding these session, my main focus is to try and attract a group of serious and committed traders that want to build a long lasting relationship, I am not out to bill an extra subscription. Therefore, I have decided to change the monthly subscription keeping two things in mind:

  1. reward the commitment and hard work put in by existing subscribers > no change in monthly payment as long as it’s your initial payment profile that is still running; Thursday session is now free for you. Yes, not a good business decision, double live time for no extra charge ;-)
  2. to avoid the unnecessary hassle and admin involved with attracting a less serious crowd or just curious bystanders, I have modified the PayPal subscription profile for the first 2 months and from then on, back to the normal monthly fee.

In conclusion, from now on you will be subscribing to:

  • Weekly live sessions on Tuesday and Thursday, 08:00 to 09:30 EST time. Starting from April 2011. > Webinars Page.

Just to preempt questions:

  1. All new subscribers have to go through the new payment plan, no exception will be made, even if you were a previous subscriber. No change only applies to valid current subs.
  2. Yes, the trial periods require an minor investment but after that there is no change in the recurring payments. All in all, still double live time for the initial launch price.

Looking forwards to seeing you there and don’t forget that the Sunday webinars are still free ;-)

Mid-Week Subscriptions open…

In Weekly Webinars on November 10, 2010 at 3:51 pm

Thank you once again to all of those that participated in the first session.

This is the last communication on this issue, subscriptions are open on a rolling monthly basis, feel free to join us or see you in the Sunday session ;-)

  • Webinar Overview and Subscriptions clock > here.

Again, as already discussed, my main goal is to have a solid group of traders and aspiring traders that are really interested and committed to understanding market dynamics, moves and setup, not ‘quick pip seekers’.

Keep it tight and safe trading to all.

Wednesday Session…

In Weekly Webinars on November 7, 2010 at 7:19 pm

Thank you for all your feedback for the Mid Week Webinar. It looks like we do have some good interest and this is what I would propose:

  • Hosted on Wednesday from 08:00 to 09:30 NY time: this would mean 4 or 5 sessions a month depending on the calendar.
  • Similar format to the Sunday webinar, reviewing and anticipating moves in a live environment: (i) review of recent price action and a look at what we can expect to see (ii) the purpose of these sessions is to show participants how we can have a clear understanding of market dynamics and trade set-ups by simply using: support/resistance, fibs and channels (iii) I will not be making trade calls or recommendations, the sessions should be seen as a learning experience.
  • Webinar Structure: (i) general review of ES, Gold and Crude (ii) main focus on Euro, Cable and Yen (iii) highlights on  interesting action / setups lining-up on other pairs. This will be live during market hours, so focus could shift depending on actual market action.
  • Interaction: there will be no live chat like in the Sunday webinar, participants will remain anonymous to other subscribers but there will be a dialog box to submit questions to the presenter.
  • Pricing: I have made a conscious effort to keep the price for the service ‘reasonable’ and truly believe that it offers exceptional value. There will be no free trial period as you can easily get a feeling for my style and competence from the Blog, Twitter or the Free Webinar, after that, you can decide if you want to make an investment. The fee will be 100 Euro rolling PayPal monthly subscription plan, no refunds but since you can cancel at any time, your risk is the first payment and naturally, I feel the risk/reward is extremely good.

I am going to run the first sessions with a limited number of participants, just to sort out all tech issues therefore, this session will be slightly longer in duration to compensate for any inconvenience. If you are interested in applying for one of these first slots, please leave me your email address in the comments section, I will not publish it and get back to you shortly. Open subscriptions will start after this process has been completed.

Looking forwards to having you on board and if this is not for you, see you in th free session on Sunday. ;-)

Mid-Week Webinar…

In Weekly Webinars on November 1, 2010 at 8:38 pm

As discussed, I have been getting more and more requests for video updates and a Sunday style webinar on trading days but ‘time’ is an extremely rare commodity and I really do try and pay it forwards as much as I can. I know that most of my followers understand that first a foremost, I am a trader and therefore have to focus on managing my account.

However, after giving it much thought, I have decided that  I am ‘willing to consider’ doing a regular midweek webinar similar to the Sunday one but with a more specific focus on current moves and setups. Having said this, due to the fact that I would have to take time out of my trading week, it would have to be a paid service and dependent on actual interest.

> This DOES NOT imply that I will no longer do the free webinar on Sunday.

So in preparing the possibility of this mid week session, I would like to ask you for some feedback:

Thank you for your time and feedback > I will keep you updated on further developments > Safe trading ;-)
