Don’t know where I picked this one up but I like it:
- Optimism means expecting the best but confidence means knowing how you will handle the worst > Never make a move if you are merely optimistic.
It all ties into the discussion that there is no place for ‘hope’ in trading… this is a business and a business of probabilities where you should only play when the odds are in your favor!
