I fall victim to this too but traders tend to forget that trading is not supposed to be fun and exciting. It can be but that’s not the point, the purpose is to make money, period.

We all love the markets, etc, etc… but following a system can be tedious and boring and requires a lot of patience but this is the only way you can win consistently.

One of my main goals this year is to minimize the time I am ‘in’ trades, focusing on  maximize the profit potential of my set-ups. Needless to say, I have a difficult task at hand…
