Thought of the Day…

“Poker reveals to the frank observer something else of import—it will teach him about his own nature. Many bad players do not improve because the cannot bear self-knowledge”

  1. HI 50,

Thought of taking your advice on a matter that is perplexing me these days. Simply put, though my trade directions have been broadly correct, I am not making much. The problem is a) I am getting stopped out at BE very so often, b) I am looking for a longer mover, but end up not booking so so many 25-30 pip profits, c) and frustrated if I book profits, that bugger runs 50-100+ pips into the direction without me onboard.

So, here I am, scratching my head and wondering what to do… Any thoughts?

    Thank you,

    1. Hi, thanks for the note.

I am sorry but there are too many variables to be able to properly answer you question. However, keep in mind that the recent moves in the markets have been more choppy that usual so it it normal to have trouble sticking with your trades if you are trying to keep your risk tight. In this kind of market, the focus in on the bigger levels and the overall context and imo, you need to understand that in order to make the most out of these conditions.

Then again, it could also simply be an issue with trade management or stop placement, again, impossible to properly answer like this…

      Have a great day.
