Irving Kahn, the 108-year-old investment manager who made his first trade in 1929, profiled in money week: In October 2008, when it felt like the whole financial system might topple, journalists beat a path to Irving Kahn’s door in search of wisdom and reassurance. “This is not new to me,” he  told Financial Week’s Hilary Johnson. “It’s like the same play,  or plot, with different characters.”

Today we are going to review why we started focusing on the Russell again and what this implies for the bigger picture. Remember to keep an eye out for the reaction to the Jobs number and possible headlines out of the White House and the FED.
